What an amazing ride I have had with Remington! He is my first Champion, my first Grand Champion and the first one in bed with me at night….he is the big spoon in case you are wondering. ;)

In 2016 Remington completed his Championship completely owner handled. He was #6 Labrador in AKC’s Owner Handler Series with multiple Owner Handler Group wins and a Reserve Owner Handler BIS. That year we drove all the way to Florida for the OH finals where he was awarded Best of Breed Owner Handler.

Santiago Pinto took over handling for Remington in 2017 thru 2018. With Santiago, Remington won an Award of Merit at Westminster in 2017, multiple group wins, a specialty win, finishing out 2018 as a GCHS and in the Top 10.

Remington is my first competitive show dog and to have accomplished as much as he has makes me super proud of him. Because of him I have made lifelong friends in the show world and in our breed.

I would like to personally thank Kathy Seider for breeding and entrusting me with Remington, for all her guidance, friendship, love and support. I also would like to thank Santiago Pinto for always making sure Remington looks his best, all his guidance, support, friendship, and for loving Remington almost as much as I do.

Thank you to all the judges that have recognized my boy through the years. In his retired life, Remington has come out for a couple Veteran's classes and even winning Best Veteran in Show at the Michigan Sporting Dog Specialty in 2019.

Happy retirement Baby Bear....you have definitely earned it!
